It is the intent of this site to use personal information only for the purpose for which it was requested and any additional uses specifically provided on this site.
We may also gather information about the type of browser you are using, IP address or type of operating system to assist us in providing and maintaining superior quality service.
It is highly recommended and suggested that you review the privacy policies and statements of any website you choose to use or frequent as a means to better understand the way in which other websites garner, make use of and share information collected.

At times, we may find it necessary to use personally identifiable information as a means to keep you informed of other possible products and/or services that may be available to you from https://springerandclark.com. Springer & Clark LLC may also be in contact with you with regards to completing surveys and/or research questionnaires related to your opinion of current or potential future services that may be offered.

Springer & Clark LLC shall endeavor and shall take every precaution to maintain adequate physical, procedural and technical security with respect to our offices and information storage facilities so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of the user’s personal information under our control.
MODIFICATION OR DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
You can decline to submit personal information at any time. If you decline, we may not be able to continue to provide service to you. You may request deletion of your personal information by sending an email to email@example.com, but in some cases, we may be required to keep your information by law. In such a case, it would no
longer be active and would be kept separately in an archive.
I take the protection of your personal data very seriously. I treat your personal data confidentially and according to the EU General Data Protection Regulations as set out in this privacy statement.
The use of my website is normally possible without giving personal data. So far as supplying your personal data on our pages (eg name, address or e-mail addresses), this is always done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your prior consent. (I hate Spam!)
I would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (for example, by e-mail communication) can constitute a security risk. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.
DATA PROCESSING ON THE SERVER
Our service provider automatically collects and stores the following information provided by the browser in server log files:
- Browser type / version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (the last page visited)
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
- Time of server query.
The service provider cannot match these data to individual persons. The data are not combined with other data sources.
Springer & Clark LLC sends out a periodic newsletter, which contains a mixture of updates, helpful tutorials, tips, and inspiration. If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address. Further data is not collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and will never pass it on to third parties.
Our newsletter may only be received under the following conditions (1) you have a valid e-mail address and (2) you consent to the newsletter being sent to the email address supplied. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address and for legal reasons, you will be asked to confirm your subscription. This is called the double opt-in procedure. This confirmation e-mail is used to prove whether you, as the owner of the e-mail address, are authorized to receive our newsletter.
During the registration for the newsletter, we also store the IP address of the computer system assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) and used by you at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of the registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to understand the (possible) misuse of the e-mail address at a later date, and it, therefore, serves the aim of the legal protection of the controller.
The personal data collected as part of a registration for the newsletter will only be used to send our newsletter. In addition, subscribers to the newsletter may be informed by e-mail, as long as this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or a registration in question, as this could be the case in the event of modifications to the newsletter offer, or in the event of a change in technical circumstances.
You may unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link provided at the end of each newsletter or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Springer & Clark LLC’s newsletter contains so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in such e-mails, which are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and analysis. This allows a statistical analysis of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, Springer & Clark LLC may see if and when an e-mail was opened and which links in the e-mail were clicked.
Such personal data collected in the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored and analyzed in order to optimize the shipping of the newsletter, as well as to adapt the content of future newsletters even better to the interests of our subscribers. These personal data will not be passed on to third parties. Data subjects are at any time entitled to revoke the respective separate declaration of consent issued by means of the double-opt-in procedure. After a revocation, these personal data will be deleted. Springer & Clark LLC automatically regards a withdrawal from the receipt of the newsletter as a revocation.
If you comment on this website, your user name will be shown together with the date of comment creation.
If you send us inquiries through our contact form, your details will be shown in the request form including the contact details provided by you for the purpose of processing the request and for the case of connecting inquiries stored with us. We do not give this data to third parties without your prior agreement.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For more information about comments, please read our Terms.

Facebook creates usage, interests and relationships profiles for this, e.g. to analyze your use of our website regarding the adverts displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide further related services using Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and to link this with your data stored on Facebook, you should log-off from Facebook before visiting our website. The purpose and scope of data collection and ongoing processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights and the setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook data protection: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

PRIVACY NOTICE FOR USE OF TWITTER
Our website includes integrated components of Twitter. Twitter is a multilingual, publicly-accessible microblogging service on which users may publish and spread so-called ‘tweets,’ e.g. short messages, which are limited to 280 characters. These short messages are available for everyone, including those who are not logged on to Twitter. The tweets are also displayed to so-called followers of the respective user. Followers are other Twitter users who follow a user’s tweets. Furthermore, Twitter allows you to address a wide audience via hashtags, links or retweets.
The operating company of Twitter is Twitter, Inc., 1355 Market Street,
Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, UNITED STATES.
With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet site, which is operated by Springer & Clark LLC and on which a Twitter component (Twitter button) was integrated, the Internet browser on your information technology system is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding Twitter component of Twitter. Further information about the Twitter buttons is available under https://about.twitter.com/de/resources/buttons. During the course of this technical procedure, Twitter gains knowledge of what specific sub-page of our website was visited by you. The purpose of the integration of the Twitter component is a retransmission of the contents of this website to allow our users to introduce this web page to the digital world and increase our visitor numbers.
If you are logged in at the same time on Twitter, Twitter detects with every call-up to our website by you and for the entire duration of your stay on our Internet site which specific sub-page of our Internet page was visited by you. This information is collected through the Twitter component and associated with the respective Twitter account of yourself. If you click on one of the Twitter buttons integrated on our website, then Twitter assigns this information to your personal Twitter user account and stores the personal data. Twitter receives information via the Twitter component that you have visited our website, provided that you are logged in on Twitter at the time of the call-up to our website. This occurs regardless of whether you click on the Twitter component or not. The applicable data protection provisions of Twitter may be accessed under https://twitter.com/privacy?lang=en.
